Rapture Comeaux is a woman scorned. She has put her heart and soul into every
relationship only to get nothing in return. But when Rapture gets burned by her last boyfriend, she takes matters into
her own hands. Rapture soon goes on a murderous crime spree against all of her past boyfriends. As the bodies start
piling up, Rapture is secretly proud of her dirty work.. Rapture’s cousin Thad is becoming increasingly suspicious of
these murders and how they lead back to her. Rapture is running out of time as Thad gets closer to the truth. Will she
be able to get away with her crimes?
Discordia Caught in Rapture is a refreshingly innovative book by Toniwo. Toniwo brought a unique story about
revenge. This book shows what can happen when a woman gets pushed too far by the men that have wronged her.
You feel the frustration of Rapture as she keeps getting wronged by the men in her life. Toniwo did a good job of
showing Rapture’s rapidly declining mental state as she commits these heinous crimes. Discordia Caught in Rapture is
an entertaining novel that really steps outside of the box.

I LOVED DISCORDIA!!! It was so good. I've already started reading it a second time. I read "That's What You Get For Running With Scissors"
three times and it seems like I find something new each time. --Chelsea Gates
I finished reading your book today and it was great! I really enjoyed it! It was really well written and I liked the way you intertwined the past
and present in the story. Rapture was really a trip, but I could understand her pain. It was a really quick read and I agree with the person
who said the only flaw was it wasn't long enough. It would've been good to see what happened to Rapture and her relationship with Thad
especially. You should really think about continuing her story. I'm definitely going to recommend your book to all of my friends! Good luck
with your success! --Xaviera McDuell
OH MY GOSH...that RAPTURE IS OFF THE HOOK!!! Congratulations on yet another riveting piece of work! It was so nice to see you at the
book signing yesterday. I am very happy for your turnout. I read the entire book last night. From the perspective of a male, men should
read this book very carefully. To me it almost seems like we men feel that we can treat women the way we please and just keep on moving.
There is a clear life lesson here-- you reap what you sew--one way or another. Extreme as Rapture s actions were, the bittersweet victory at
the end of the book almost seem inevitable and in a weird sense justifiable. Rapture pulled it off; however, for each of the seven men, all of
the warning signs were there for some form of impending disaster. Good job! By the way, I like the touch you have of using local businesses
and addressing entrepreneurship..clever! --Rob Thomas, EdD

Do you remember your mom telling you not to run with scissors because you might get hurt? In her short story collection, THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR
RUNNING WITH SCISSORS, Toniwo gives readers a look at different women and their relationships. The stories are sad, but a true representation of women who
devalue themselves for the love they perceive to have for a man.
There are 17 stories of women taking the wrong road to finding love. The compilation begins with "Stupid Is What Stupid Does," about a young woman in a
relationship with a guy, who in turn is seeing someone else. When the young lady doesn't hear from him and he finally contacts her to explain, she accepts his excuse
only to realize her "man" is now married to the woman she caught him with in the first place. In "Friends With Benefits" the woman falls for a guy who is the
opposite of the men she usually dates, but she finds out too late that he is extremely jealous and will do anything to keep her, including filing criminal charges
against her. The other stories include relationships with co-workers, preachers, ex-cons, infidelity and a host of other scenarios.
THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR RUNNING WITH SCISSORS has a story for almost any kind of bad relationship drama you can think of. The women fall for men
who hurt them in the end. Although they see the signs to be wary of, they seem to desperately want to be in love, no matter the consequence. Although some of the
situations had humourous moments, they did make you think, because if we cannot relate personally to the particular circumstance, we know friends, male and
female, who have. The stories were too real and will have you evaluating your own previous relationships. The collection is thought-provoking, insightful and
honest.

Book Review - The Galveston Wizard - Volume 7 - by Linda Sivy
My beloved friend and collaborator, Taj Wood, drew near me in my tower and endowed me with this book. He beckoned I should "check it out, my lady". I flipped
the book over and felt it. Then, it magically happened as though a spell was cast. I read "driven by lust and control,"… on its back. I beamed.
We, at The Galveston Wizard, have decided to share with our readers some of our most memorable reads. We, (me) had the pleasure of reading That's What You Get
For Running With Scissors, Volume I, A collection of short stories written by toniwo . My mother, the queen, has often told me to never run with scissors. I knew of
jousts and such, but, not of what one would get with scissors.
Not only did I have the pleasure of reading this lovely medially of relationship farewells, I found myself dreaming in her nightmares of familiar under goings. toniwo
takes you through her "truly fabricated distortions of choices women can make in relationships with other people" with a mouthful of soulfulness and colors of flavor.
toniwo boldly fonts, on her back cover, PARTICULARLY MEN, (WOMEN), NOT VICTIMS, NASTY WOMEN, no MALE BASHING, NO and CAN, which enticed me
to read what causes the illusion of love. toniwo has succeeded with facilitating me to feel what she was feeling. Each short story was written with clarity, humor and
heartache for both, men and women. The cover artwork is masterful. After this read, I truly felt I could possibly kiss a minority of laconic frogs, if given the wish.
